The fools in the New Mexico legislature passed a law that goes into effect in July banning private firearms sales. All sales must go through an FFL. There are some exceptions for immediate family members, but everyone else must take their firearms to dealer, have him take them into inventory, then run a NICS check on the prospective buyer. and execute an ATF Form 4473 on the transaction.
I expect 0.0% compliance and the same level of enforcement.
