But don't raise a squrrell as a pet, they bite real bad!

Goats can be very endearing and follow you around. On the other hand, billy goats can be quite ornery. Let someone else feed them. That way they won't get attached to you.

The great peach tree caper of 2017! Deer can be far more destructive than squirrels, but they are bigger and hungrier. Think of it this way, she was probably feeding a fawn. Yes, the squirrels sample the garden when the tomatoes first come out and decide they are too sour. Eventually you have more tomatoes than you know what to do with and you end up giving them away or canning them before they rot.

So do cottontails! Wild critters usually bite when you try to hold them. They are not tolerant of cuddles.

My nickname in some circles is Squirrel Man.

The billing office I manage keeps a stuffed squirrel that they reposition in my office on no notice lol

Sadly it went missing a week or two ago. Fliers have been distributed.

LOL. My Dad was from Poland and didn't tolerate foolishness. He was old school. We had polite conversations at the dinner table and otherwise were quiet when he was not at work. He knew we were very unhappy when we wouldn't talk to him at dinner time.

I have probably been bit by more critters than the average dude.

Cats, dogs, snakes, turtles, fish, horses, goats, sharks (small one, no @Bob thing here with me lol), birds, ferrets, rabbits.

Sadly never been bitten by a squirrel but does a hamster count?

Similar type bite. A cottontail bite takes the cake - that rabbit bit me and tried to pull the piece off. He actually braced his hind feet on me and started pulling. He was funny and spirited but no dumb passive bunny. I learned not to hold him for too long. He was a wild critter, not a domesticated bunny. We were terrible though, we used to tease him and pretend predatory assaults with our hands - I think he knew it was a game. He would sit under some piece of furniture and we would put our hands in front of him and scratch the carpet aggressively so that he would feign an attack and thump his hind legs, grunt and scratch the carpet in front of him. We would call him tiger and he was pleased that he defeated us.
