8 days ago · Today the situation is different. When President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal and reimposed sanctions, it devastated the Iranian economy. The poverty and lack of freedom are on a much larger scale than what led to the shah's overthrow — so much so, that it cannot be compared to 1979.

Iran Economic Outlook. June 4, 2019. The economy remains under siege from U.S. sanctions, which are ravaging the public coffers and fueling inflationary pressures. According to the EIA, oil production in Q1 was down roughly 1.2 million barrels per day (mbpd) from Q1 2018, and dropped a further 0.3 mbpd in April relative to March.

Yeah its funny. Because the lack of freedom and poverty now today can't even be compared to 79.

The Yemeni don't have the navy necessary to carry out covert attacks. The ships would have seen the Yemeni ships prior to the attack. The Yemeni don't have any subs.

These ships were underway, not in port. We assumed Iran was responsible for the first attacks. But after this round, perhaps not. Hopefully we find out.
It is time for Japan and Norway to step up.

Good thing the US Military got video surveillance on the Iranians being in the water Right next to the tanker carrying the LNG. Of course you will now tell us that the Iranians were just trying to help their Japanese brothers out, Right?
