Democratic Debates Announced. Warren Gets Left At Kids’ Table.

They are protecting Biden, he has no chance against Warren in a Debate, shes waaay smarter a much better speaker and she at least believes what she says.

Anyone clearly can see the honest thing to do with this debate is put the top 3 front runners together in the debate.

They are worried enough about Bernie against Biden, Warren is out of the question. She should make ALOT of noise about getting shafted

The Democratic Party, as always, favoring fairness over merit, held a random drawing to determine which candidates would appear in the two debates scheduled for June 26-27 in Florida, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) got left at the kids’ table.

The New York Times tried to put the best spin on the situation, arguing that Warren, who is running third in most polls behind former vice-president Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who are both in the June 27 debate, will face-off against Beto O’Rourke, but O’Rourke’s recent poll numbers show that he is not currently a serious candidate in the race. The Times wrote, “Elizabeth Warren will share the stage with Beto O’Rourke on one night, and Joseph R. Biden Jr. will face off against Bernie Sanders on the next …”

According to the DNC, this composition of the respective debates is just a coincidence. I don't believe in coincidences like that. Relegating Elizabeth Warren to what sure the hell looks like a kid's table debate composed otherwise entirely of candidates polling at 2% or less tells me that this arrangement was NOT, in fact, random, but chosen deliberately in order to minimize the visibility of Elizabeth Warren specifically, whom I suspect they are viewing as the biggest threat to the current front-runner (their preferred candidate) right about now in view of the trend lines that recent polling have shown (example, example, example). This way many if not most viewers will tune in only to night two of the debate and won't see Warren at all. It's a smart strategy on their part.

What do you think, @The Xl and @Green Arrow, if you're still around? Legitimate coincidence or something else?

Who cares what the DNC does during the primaries? Who cares what either party does during the primaries. The primary system of choosing the candidate will be 100 years old next year. For the first 130 years of this country the candidates were chosen by various state conventions and a National convention and not by direct vote of the people, thus reinforcing the will of the Founding Fathers that we were a Republic and not a democracy. We should do away with the primary system, its a sham anyway

Neither are idiots. I don't like Maddow because of the constant attacks on my beliefs but I don't believe she is a stupid woman (?). I see her as rather like Alexa, not stupid at all, just an arrogant acid tongued creature.

No one gets in the position of either Maddow Conway by being stupid. You post simply shows your pettiness and bias and bile against any opinion other than your own.
