I think the key point here is the crony capitalism is not a conservative idea. The Tech giants are now that. The use public utility and lisencing to enrich themselves and those they favor. This is is the definition of crony capitalism and it is in the interest of a free society to combat that. That is a very conservative prinicple.

Don't fall for the Maoist's protecting this racket by trying to paint Conservatives as hypocrites. This is their favorite tactic.Gordon is right. Believe it or not, Republicans controlled Congress and the White House in 1890 when they passed the Sherman Antitrust Act.
The Act was sponsored by Republican Senator John Sherman of Ohio. In the senate debates in 1890, he declared, “If we will not endure a king as a political power, we should not endure a king over the production, transportation, and sale of any of the necessities of life. If we would not submit to an emperor, we should not submit to an autocrat of trade, with power to prevent competition and to fix the price of any commodity.”
The Chairman smiles down on their efforts to transmogrify this conversation on fighting censorship and control to one of defending free speech.

Monopolies are not free shouldn't be free to do as they please. We regulate them now and we should regulate them in the future. If FB is a monopoly they have an unbeatable advantage. There is no competition now or coming down the road.
They are different for that reason.
Google has competition. They don't need any regulation.
Opposition to big government doesn't mean no government.
Liberals are a clear and present danger to our nation
Pick your enemies carefully.
