    How to take on Iran

Apparently, Iran planted mines, which recently exploded, on four foreign oil tankers.

Moreover, it seems that Iran had a proxy do a rocket attack on the US embassy in Baghdad.

Retired General Jack Keane has said that the commercial ships of all our allies--both in Europe and Japan--should be re-flagged; they should carry the US flag, instead of that of their respective countries.

Moreover, they should be escorted by US warships.

And if Iran then fires upon them...well, then appropriate action should be taken.

Its now 6 ships. Plus they boarded and detained a crew. Plus they fired a Missile at a US drone sent to an SOS. They missed. But still fired on US property.

We do like we did back with Reagan. We now respond immediately taking out their Navy. Which then they will fire missiles from ground in Iran.

Then we open up a can a whoopass on them. Destroying their meager Airforce. All of their Cities and Military bases and that is without putting any boots on the ground.

The destruction and the continued sanctions should be enough to put them on the brink of extinction. With no way to defend their country.

We solve the problem once and for all rather than wasting money every year doing nothing.

Oh and we hold protests in the US burning the Iranian Flag, Pictures of the Eyetoldyaso, while Chanting death to Iran.

Yep.....they can't control their sky with their 20 working planes. Their radar sucks. So they wont even know we are there until after the fact. Last time we just destroyed their Navy. This time we should take out their Navy and all shipping.

I would go with 12 points mocking the 12 percenters. Problem solved.

Other countries are responsible for their shipping. Not us.

ABOARD THE USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (AP) — Under a starry sky, U.S. Navy fighter jets catapulted off the aircraft carrier’s deck and flew north over the darkened waters of the northern Arabian Sea, a unmistaken signal to Iran that the foremost symbol of the American military’s global reach is back in its neighborhood, perhaps to stay.

The USS Abraham Lincoln , with its contingent of Navy destroyers and cruisers and a fighting force of about 70 aircraft, is the centerpiece of the Pentagon’s response to what it calls Iranian threats to attack U.S. forces or commercial shipping in the Persian Gulf region. In recent years, there has been no regular U.S. aircraft carrier presence in the Middle East.
    Lethal

On Saturday the Lincoln was steaming in international waters east of Oman and about 200 miles from Iran’s southern coastline. One month after its arrival in the region, the Lincoln has not entered the Persian Gulf, and it’s not apparent that it will. The USS Gonzalez, a destroyer that is part of the Lincoln strike group, is operating in the Gulf.
According to this article and it's from June 8, the USS Lincoln hasn't entered into the Persian Gulf but its' Strike Group has.

McKenzie also requested, and received, four Air Force long-range B-52 bombers. They were in the region 51 hours after being summoned and were flying missions three days later. They are now operating from al-Udeid air base in Qatar. There had been no U.S. bomber presence in the Gulf region since late February.
That is Marine General Frank McKenzie who is Central Command. He's got the ball and a President who will support him. We are definitely moving assets into the region. The B-52's I would think used against communication and port facilities on and inside the Iranian coast.

Rear Adm. John F. G. Wade, commander of the Lincoln strike group, said Iran’s naval forces have adhered to international standards of interaction with ships in his group.
“Since we’ve been operating in the region, we’ve had several interactions with Iranians,” he said. “To this point all have been safe and professional — meaning, the Iranians have done nothing to impede our maneuverability or acted in a way which required us to take defensive measures.”
We all pray to God the Iranians continue to cede space to this Strike Group, especially the USS Lincoln.

I said US warships should escort all ships in the region. I like the re-flagging idea, but that brings up a lot of other unrelated issues.

If any Naval or Marine boat gets seized by Iran (like under the Fem-bot O) court-martial any who surrendered, along with any commander in the area who does not commit his forces to combat.
