How to take on Iran

I was not happy with either Bush. I did love Reagan. Reagan did the right thing when he was faced with a similar situation.

In my opinion President Trump faltered. One can question why. Last night I heard an unverified story that someone leaked the plans to the Iranians. The Iranians took actions designed to increase civilian deaths if we attacked.

I also heard that. I'm sure Trump's plan was known to the Iranians almost as soon as he formulated it.

Whatever happened, let it be said that democrats have no problem whatsoever with leaking that kind of information. Indeed, it has become part of their platform since they don't do much anymore that doesn't have the china stamp of approval. And then, too, the internet and so forth.

Now you are just deluding yourself. The US can take on Iran alone and without any assistance from others. It is Iran that could not take on the US alone and doesn't have the money. Yes we can predict the outcome. As we can destroy Irans Navy and 20 working plane Air force. Iran can't control their own skies. Iran could not stop the US from Destroying their cities. We could bomb the $#@! of them. Half the time Iran wouldn't even know we are in the sky over them. We can destroy all military bases above ground and their cities, ports, missile batteries. Without putting any boots on the ground. Then we could just pull up, sit back and watch Iran struggle just to protect their own borders and whats left of their people. Its hilarious that you Anti Americans don't think we have the money. Come back to reality as your fantasy is delusional. Quit trying to trick your own self.

The war hasn't even started yet, and you're already $200mil in the red....plus the cost of keeping all those ships running......at least the naval employees will be getting good bonuses. I'm not anti-American by the way, I'm just filling in the blanks that you conveniently leave out, while salivating about doing some " whoopass "....(lol)

As you are probably aware by now, President Trump has announced a new round of sanctions. These new sanctions target, predominately, Ayatollah Ali Khameini. They cut him off from the international banking system.

If this prompts Iran to do something utterly stupid--like, say, mining (or firing upon) a manned American vessel--I think that "maximum pressure" will quickly become maximum destruction.

None of our tankers were attacked. It is not our circus. It is not our monkey. Norway and Japan are rich countries. It is their circus.

This appears to imply that if the US is not attacked directly, then it has no dog in that fight (as the old saying goes).

But that is not at all correct.

And Norway is not at all capable of taking on Iran.

As for Japan, it has been allowed only a small self-defense force--it is, in fact, written into its Constitution--ever since the end of WWII.

Some people prefer the policy of isolationism (now re-labeled "non-interventionism"; that does sound so much better).

But I am not one of those people.
