    LOL..

Jim Gafigan said “when I was getting out of the cab the driver said hey your shoes are gay. I thought to myself are my shoes gay? I don’t know but I did feel like skipping.”

Don’t know why but it made me think of that.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Personally, I don't have an issue with media including gay people or trans people. What I do have a problem with is society pushing acceptance rather than tolerance.

I'll explain. Tolerance is simply recognizing that other people have the same rights as you. Acceptance is quite different. That requires approval. Right now, a lot of the left seems intent on forcing people to approve or accept certain lifestyles or differences even if it goes against their religion or personal values. It's gotten to the point that certain opinions can ruin your entire career and livelihood if you're not careful.

As texan mentioned earlier, even once respected people like Navratilova have suffered for what really amounts to pointing out the obvious. Trans people, for example, should have the same rights as other people, but a trans woman is clearly very different physiologically than a cisgender woman. These differences are why making them compete in the same group is ridiculous. Yet, mentioning this is considered "bigotry" or "hate speech", depending on the country you live in.

Valid criticisms of Islam can get you censored or even prosecuted in parts of Europe.

And if a Christian baker doesn't want to serve gay people when gay customers in the area have numerous alternatives, then I don't see what the big deal is either.

Basically, the left has seized a lot of power culturally throughout the West, and they're becoming far more authoritarian than a lot of the right has ever been.

His post was more about interacial couples and the sheer amount of it in the lionshare of commercials and the emasculation of white males which I think Jim is taking for homosexuality, however there is to much of that portrayed in commercials also.

I fully understand the desire to show people in a positive light but there comes a point where become blatantly absurd and overkill.

My biggest bone of contention is the emasculation of white men to apparently make black men look better

Its not just Jim and I that know its happening EVERYONE knows, even you SW Yesterday at brunch even a diehard liberal democrat readily admitted it. She did make a good point, the advertisers are in collusion with hollywood and entertainment in general to push an agenda, but its to their benefit because the audience they are trying to reach are millenials and younger.

I agree with her but she should have added Indoctrinate and reach.

Men are often weak but do all commercials reflect them as being sub human and juvenile? Homosexuality is a fact but not commonplace. Now they need to show two men sitting on a couch, watching with their arms around one another. We know they do it but must we be forced to watch it?
TV, especially network TV is a copy cat world. Them one I make fun of has nothing to do with social issues but is still funny to me.
