They aren't specifically Moroccan but they are common in Moroccan cuisine. Cumin, saffron, ginger, turmeric etc. I hardly ever use those except for cumin. I use that for chili all the time.

Cumin - yeah, I buy that stuff in bulk when I can get it, great for chili and BBQ. Gotta salt it though, it's kinda dry by itself.
I was thinking ginger also but I've never really used it. My wife's used it in jellies but not so much for cooking.

I never cook with ginger but I have ginger teas here and there. It's actually pretty easy to use from what I understand and a little goes a long way.
