    It is likely just a short term effect. It probably also boosts your metabolism, not the Mr. D needs that.

    It doesn't last long but I feel ill while it does.

    I think you're right about chili peppers raising your metabolism. I've read that in several places.

    For as filling and fattening lasagna is, I can eat an entire $#@!ing tray of it right up to the verge of my gut exploding.

    Last time my wife made lasagna, the leftover half pan vanished and I (in shame) blamed it on the dog.

    He took one for the master, which is ok - he owes me a couple.

    Yeah it's delicious. I've bought the Stouffer's frozen veggie lasagna and made quick work of it. Really all Italian food is endangered around me.
