Salsa is great when it's good but sucks when it sucks. Too much of it out there is just ketchup or runny and funky tasting.

I prefer Tostidos myself, the bite size ones. Pace is the best store bought Salsa around but I think you can make your own with some peppers, a few chilies, a small amount of onion ( I don't like onion ), some chili powder, and tomatoes. I use Cooks dot com quite often when I'm looking for something I want to know.
I like Mrs. Renfro's Habanero Salsa and Rick Bayless'. I forget the brand name for Rick's though. He's a chef who specilizes in Mexican cuisine. Anyway, I've been eating a lot of Cooler Ranch Doritos. Those things are delicious.

Habanero, you like the really hot stuff too. You ever watch man vs food? That guy has eaten some fire before, LOL Sorry my friend but Cool Ranch Doritos suck IMO.

I like about any type pepper, adds some spice and flavor to everything. Only thing I really don't like is putting salt pork in my beans, smoked jowl is much better and adds that xtra flavor, along with a generous amount of chili powder, salt and pepper/peppers.
Other than that I'll put about anything in a dish that sounds good. Trial and error is good, well most of the time anyway. I've had to throw a few things in the trash before. Mostly after a few drinks and I thought I was a master chef or something.
Habenero is too $#@!ing hot, for me at least.

Same here but for every culinary disaster I've had there have been many more successes.
I kind of have a Spartan diet on some days. I run quite a bit and I'll sometimes eat beans right out fo the can with some salt and extra virgin olive oil if I have it around. As far as chilis, I'm the same way except for those tabasco peppers. They have a weird flavor. Mind you, I'll take Tabasco sauce over no sauce at all but I'd prefer something else.
