Yeah, it's weird but I like all kinds of veggies others hate. Cabbage, lima beans, bean sprouts, all good stuff.

Lima beans don't taste good or bad. They're pretty bland. I like them with salt, hot sauce and some corn. I guess it's my version of succotash.

Yeah. I eat it raw a lot in salads (red cabbage) and I'm a little wary of cooking it tomorrow. I know what you are talking about. It has a strong sulfuric odor.

Ah, maybe I'll just cook simmer the brisket with some potatoes and carrots for tomorrow's dinner and savbe the rest for corn beef sandwiches for lunch. I'll get at least one dinner and two lunches out of this. Probably three sandwiches. I'll get some chips and rye bread for work. I guess some nice Dijon mustard as well. This will work. I don't want to take the chance of the cabbage being horrible.

It all sounds good to me. I don't think you can go wrong with it.

I know what he means. I added cabbage to vegi soup one time and it stank to high heaven. It was awful. Ruined the soup for me.

Yeah, I haven't had corned beef in a while. It will be a nice change of pace. I can make the bread last after it's expiration date by toasting it. Tastes better toasted anyway.

LOL, didn't mean to ruin your dinner. But the corned beef hash is a much better use for the meat than mixed with something that makes you sick to your stomach when you smell it. I think it is the smell more than than the taste for me, although I don't like either one.

Lima beans, what I call butter beans have no flavor? You are not cooking them right my friend, I love them and they taste great. Are you seasoning with some bacon grease? Some onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and my favorite that nobody would ever put in most things, lightly put in some parmesan cheese, and a touch of chili powder. You have to figure out where your taste buds are but they will add to any dish. From hamburgers to fish, just know when to say when on it. I put a touch of them all in most things I cook.

Bacon grease and/or parmesan cheese will make any veggie delicious.

LOL, you could be the only person I know that puts parmesan in as a seasoning besides me. It does add flavor however.
