I use ginger ale for nausea all the time because I've heard that ginger is good for an upset stomach.
My mom used to say that about Hibiscus tea. I don't have nausea often but it's hard for me to imagine a tea helping.

A study published in the Journal of Human Hypertension has shown that drinking hibiscus tea can reduce high blood pressure in people with type 2 diabetes. The study results showed the average systolic blood pressure for those drinking hibiscus tea decreased from 134.8 mmHg (17.97 kPa) at the beginning of the study to 112.7 mmHg (15.03 kPa) at the end of the study, one month later.

    That's pretty impressive if true.

I don't often have it either and especially now that I rarely drink to the point where it might upset my stomach. The way I see it, if it doesn't help you've lost nothing.

I have definitely had stomach aches from drinking too much. It usually happens after a few days of heavy boozing.

I don't miss that at all. It's funny because I only remember the bad stuff about drinking heavily.

That reminds me. I forgot to get that mixing scotch. Dang it!

Oddly enough, beef brisket was on sale so I got a first cut brisket. Very lean.

Except for my chili and meatballs (both of which are 50% pork) I don't eat much beef. I'm going to cook this the old British way. Bring it to a boil! Seriously, it's called a simmer, Conley. I'll throw some onions and some easonings in there and let it cook for 3.5 hours. Should be falling apart by the time I get back from church.
