    RECIEPE for Disaster

    4 more years of Obama,
The eastern world, it is exploding, violence flaring bullets loading. you are old enough to kill , but not for voting, this whole crazy world is just to frustrating, and you tell me over and over and over again my friend, you don't believe we are on the EVE of DESTRUCTION.

Braised Eggs Over A Simpler Version Of Potatoes O'Brian

    Simpler Version Of Potatoes O'Brian

    Ingredients
    2 lbs. defrosted Hash Browns
    1/2 cup butter
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 cup Sour Cream
    1/2 cups Green Onions
    1 med. green bell pepper
    1 can Green Chilies
    1/4 cup milk
    Salt & Pepper to taste
2-3 cups cheese, 1/2 cup set aside for topping

    Directions
    • Mix ingredients and poor over Hash Browns, mix
    • Pour into a 9x9 baking dish
    • Sprinkle with Bread crumbs and 1/2 cheese
    • Bake at 350 for 45-60 min

Braised Eggs ala Vilifier of Zombies

    Ingredients
Six Eggs cooked two or three at a time
    Olive Oil and Pam
Three slices of thinly sliced Prosciutto
2 table spoons of finely cut chives
About three or four stalks of spring onion finely chopped
1/4 - 1/2 cup of Jalapeño Flavored Smoked Havarti (best if it's been put in the freezer for awhile, that way it's easier to grate)
Chopped mushrooms of your choice to taste
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste

    Directions
    • In a saute pan, pre cook the Prosciutto
    • Heat up a normal sized already pre applied with Pam frying pan then heat up approximately a table spoon plus of olive oil, add eggs as if you were going to make sunny side up eggs on medium heat, add the salt, pepper, chives, spring onions, pre-cooked prosciutto, and mushrooms - all this should take about a minute to add, after a minute or so add about a 1/4 cup of water (what you really want is enough water that'll just barely cover the egg white - after about another minute or so add the grated jalapeño smoked havarti cheese (I think it pans out better if the cheese is grated in the small setting of the grater), by the time cheese melts, which shouldn't be any longer than a minute the eggs should be done.
    • Put the braised right on the potatoes and you're done.

I just bought some dandelions. Anyone ever make these before? I'm going to fry a bunch of garlic and toss that with the dandelions over some fettuccine.

I have not used dandelions, but other flowers like roses. They are great just raw, but I understand that dandelions require some work to get the bitterness out.

I've heard about the bitterness. I've never had them before so I don't know if it will bother me. I throw kale into my pasta water for about 30 seconds and I don't think it's bitter. I will do the same for the lions and see.

Nope. Same plant. You know, it's probably perfectly safe to use the ones on my lawn but you always have that doubt in the back of your mind. For $2.99 why take a chance?
