I have heard many people talk about they eat (food) when they are bored, or upset, or for reasons other than being hungry. I eat when I am hungry, and if not for the hunger pains I probably would sometimes forget to eat.

@Peter1469, I have some lab-grown hamburgers for you when you are hungry.
I like eating & cooking...I enjoy different flavors, textures, new ways of preparing familiar ingredients. If I only ate when hungry, I would weigh a lot less!

I eat when I'm hungry and on the flip side, I need to eat something even if I'm not hungry because my blood sugar is low.
I eat because it's sitting in front of me

When hungry. Though sometimes I eat when I'm sleepy and need to stay awake to work or something. I don't know why it has that affect, maybe I just need some energy.

I eat b/c I'm hungry, but I must admit, I do love to cook creole/cajun dishes with seafood like shrimp, crab, fish, and oysters. I sleep much better after eating seafood instead of chicken, pork, or beef.
Only in America.... could the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.
I eat at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Snaks when something good is on tv. Football or good movie.
If I BBQ..I eat all day long.
