For me over the years, it has been divorce, child support, alimony, custody and such. What measures did I take?
Marry a woman who has a good relationship with her parents
Don't own a home nor accumulate too much in assets because it produces a temptation to "cash out" the marriage
Maintain a good a good relationship with sons, document time spent with them
Live in a state that generally doesn't award alimony

Well, I have dodged the bullet with my marriage still intact plus the youngest son will be an adult soon.

At majorly successful forums like Reddit, meta-posting is almost universally prohibited. It is a complete waste of time and bandwidth to allow meta-posts. All they do is clog up forums with useless crap that nobody wants to read. Simply announcing to the world that you disapprove of a thread is not interesting to anyone except the person making the announcement. And the kind of person who feels compelled to make such announcements is usually too conceited to understand why nobody wants to read their self-important crap.
