I give mine away also. I usually buy WW2 books. Always Non-Fiction. Read them and pass them on. I have kept Spear's book and read it three times.

Same with Shirer's book. I just noticed that The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich came out in a 50th Anniversary edition. I may pick it up. Remember, those that forget are condemned to repeat.

LOL. Project Gutenberg does an acceptable job on old books. I did not include them. Let me log on to Calibre and count up those books. 3,451 books. There is some overlap.
I still have thousands of paper copies of old documents from the 1970s and 80s on the soviet WwII perspective. I tossed out almost all of them.
