LOL. I store all that stuff on my network attached storage. Whoever gets it after me will format the 10 terabytes of useful space and use it to store their porn.

I would love to find a book scanner that can convert my books to searchable PDFs, to Word documents or to one of the Kindle formats.

I have looked at the CZUR scanners (cost roughly $500). They are made in communist China and appear to send the scanned images back to Communist China.

I would like to scan one or two books per week.

Do any of you have experience with any of the higher quality book scanners?
There is no need to scan books, buy a kindle plus and there are ways to get any book you want, you can dl them to your computer then dl to a thumbdrive to keep forever or put them on your kindle and read them or do both.

I want the way the Kindle flows the text. PDFs can be reformatted with the software I won to convert from flat to searchable. i have converted several very old PDF. But many of the old PDFs have flaws i want to correct. To do that I convert them from PDF to Word.

Many of the books and documents I have not given away are not available as epubs, Kindle or PDFs.
