    Indoor outdoors!

While on a little trip with friends this weekend our tee time got rained out sop we went on a cave tour. I have done so before , but not this particular cave. It was pretty cool.
Literally, it was 52 degrees down there. But it was a great experience. Another reminder of the awesome power of nature over geological time. There was a river, a boat ride, lots of space and some neat sights all underground. It and another cave system in the area were discovered because dairy cows like the cool breeze venting out of them
It was called Howe Caverns , after the original owner. Has anyone ever been there?

No but been to the Crystal Caves in Colorado Springs. It's always 58 degrees no matter what the temp is outside. Pretty cool.

Have been to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. I was around 7 and vaguely remember it, I mostly remember it's where my father had his first heart attack. ....... My wife and I went to Ruby Falls in Lookout Mountain at Chattanooga. In Alabama we toured Cathedral Caverns, Russell Cave and DeSoto Caverns.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

That sucks about your dad. You know a message board I belonged to ( a smaller, more like minded group, not politics) talked seriously about having an in person event at Mammoth Caves.

Thanks. What I do remember is it's appropriately named.

We went to some in the Laurel Highlands. Mrs U had a ball.
