Ok. I have this hard and fast rule: I will not give money, nor commit to give money, over the phone. I don't care if it's the second coming of Woody Hayes or the Pope himself, I won't do it. I just hung up from someone with the Ohio Trooper's Coalition.
If I send you an envelope, can we put you down for $100
You can put me down for researching who you are and thinking about donating, I do not donate over the phone.

I know that's alot, how about just $50 -- If I send you an envelope, can we put you down for $50
You can put me down for thinking about donating, I do not donate over the phone.

How about $25 -- If I send you an envelope, can we put you down for $25
No. If you send me an envelope, I will consider it I do not donate over the phone.

Our troopers work hard, but we know it's tough out there, the minimum donation is $10 -- If I send you an envelope, can we put you down for $10
Again, I do not donate over the phone.

I can't send you an envelope.
OK.
Does anybody go for these cold calls? Frequently, when I google the groups, they are scams, aren't registered with the BBB etc.
