The North Korea Neither Trump Nor Western Media Wants The World To See

"North Koreans as seen through a visitor’s lens Propaganda and history aside, what we hardly ever see in articles on North Korea is the human side, some of the faces among the 25 million people at risk of being murdered or maimed by an American-led attack. From August 24 to 31, 2017, I was part of a three-person delegation that independently visited the DPRK, with the intent of hearing from Koreans themselves about their country and history. As it turned out, we heard also about their wishes for reunification with the South, their past efforts towards that goal, their desire for peace, but their refusal to be destroyed again. Following are snapshots and videos from my week in the country, with an effort to show the people and some of the impressive infrastructure and developments that corporate media almost certainly will never show........................https://www.mintpressnews.com/north-...Yyoy_vMfKd3wR0

You seem to ignore the suffering the nk people have suffered at the hands of the kim family the imprisonment of people the starvation at the hands of the kim family.s9me in nk dont even know man has walked on the moon . thier medical facalitys are little more then slaughter houses.
You fail to mention thier missles and nukes pointed at sk and other nations.
You have a issue with america and refuse to say why and of your muslim or not.you complained about the usa in iraq but seem to have forgot your own nations huge presence in that war.

Donald trump has no desire to go to war with them he wants to bring nk into the modern world where they are not threating to attack sk and the usa where they have free trade medicine and food.

Nk and iran coyld be part of the civilized world and have a great economy with international trade by simply giving up thier nukes its that simple. Give up backing terriosm its that simple .

I think what he is saying is that while things in NK are not good, they are not as bad as the propaganda machine would have you believe. Anytime we feel we may choose to wage war the propaganda machine demonizes the other country even more than it may deserve. They sell the war to the people based upon inflated human rights violations that they don't give a $#@! about to begin with. Iraq 2.0 is a great example. Before the war the documentaries et al started about how the cruel Saddam Hussein needed to be stopped. They left out the part where he was the same mean $#@! when he was our boy. But like anything else the donkephant puts out there, it's the people's fault for buying such plain bull$#@!, time and time again.
Meanwhile our human rights status is not what it could be. Another perfect example of how we could be so much better by minding and fixing our own business!

What human rights status are you referring to?

America isn't planning any attack. Everyone knows the "human side" of the North Korean issue, that's one of the reasons many nations have sanctions against the country.

The article has a few good photos, and it's always nice to see North Koreans as they go about their lives, but I've read numerous accounts written by former North Koreans who were able to escape -- and that's the key word, "escape." Because when a country has to keep its citizens from leaving through force, you've got a country that isn't in sync with the rest of the world. I pity the North Koreans, but the United States is the least of their worries.

That's nice, but you've never been there. How can you verify your position?

Hr claims to hsve been there but he wishs to blame america for nk issues not the truth that nk citizens have been been conditioned for years to fear america .the kim regime has blamed america for decades instead of taking responsibility for the nations spending money on its military and the starvation of its citizens. They have considered his grandfather his father and him as gods . thats the real issue . they starve while he fills himself on Lobster and Hennessy cognac and h8s nuke program on a nation that cant even provide food for ots people a entire generation was stunted in growath because of malnutrition.

If we lift the sanctions on any country we've deemed "out of sorts" the people would still be starving and the ruling person gets fatter. None of the money we send to the ME countries ever get to the people that need it the most.
There is no way to ensure the money goes were it's needed the most, unless force is involved, and JPL is against either. JPL doesn't have an answer except to stop meddling. How's that going to work for the little people of said countries?

I did two tours on the DMZ. Both times as an infantry fire team leader who was the designated marksman for the squad. Also point man on patrols. As the DM I did my watch time in the sniper tower. You could see pretty far into North Korea and for the night time I had thermal night sights and NODs (night optic/vision devices). I saw starving North Korean guards killing and eating dogs. On several occasions I saw North Korean citizens attempting to flee south gunned down. The best one was at night using the thermals- I heard AK fire, called it in, and observed. I saw one red blob running towards the boarder (near my check-point) more shots, then a line of red blobs behind the running man. More shots, and the led read blob drops. End shooting. Called it in. Continued with my guard shift.

Don't give me your $#@! - the NKs should fear their government not the US.
