Health ..ever to a point of fear you dont want to know?

Im no spring chicken so of course I expect health issues to rise on occasion. Ive had mild nausea that will go away for a few hours then its back. This has been going on for a month. It's probably nothing then again something is going on. As any of you have gotten older do you get sick of the fight and just put it in God's hands or what? 2-3 years ago I felt like a 20 year old. Now I've gotten used to feeling like sht. The reason I ask the " fight it or give up" question is because this is new ground for me. It stands to reason as time marches on the question will grow in its intensity, urgency and consequence.
    I'm yo.

I was in the med profession but I am not a Dr., Depends, could be the meds you are taking, but if you have chest pain or breathlessness, dry mouth, rapid breathing or Abdominal pain a Dr. visit is in order.

I had an issue like that, then I turned yellow. Jaundice.

    Was cancer.

Can't fix it until you know what it is.

    Go to the doctor.

I havent had chest pain (except one unusual but brief episode a week or so ago I thought was maybe anxiety) but dry mouth , breathlessness and abdominal pain, yes. I wake up and feel like im in a deep fog. Then I walk a few steps thinking " I cannot believe I feel this bad" then go back to bed and sleep some more.

Im starting to really grasp how connected the mental and physical is. I've got a few things going on upstairs but cant tell if it's partly my physical nagging me mentally or vice versa. I'll have to figure out something. Thanx

I thought the problem was most likely gallstones. That would have been okay. A simple laproscopic snip and problem removed. No, it turned out to be a trifle more severe. Would have died if I hadn't gone to the doctor, and I hate going to the doctor.

I dread this so much. It flies in the face of some of my greatest fears. Quality of life, quality of death, possible hospitalization. Lack of privacy , too many people when I dont want them , not enough people if I need them.
Would it be ok to ask what happened after your diagnosis?
