the wife is a coke drinker. She likes a wide variety of coke products. She tried the New Coke and dumped the can down the drain. That was pretty self-explanatory.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

They certainly did but the whole marketing campaign seemed like it was in bad faith even to me at the time.
BTW, I actually liked the New Coke better when I was a kid.

I stopped drinking Coke because of New Coke, I didn't get back on it until they ended the campaign. Partially because they swore up and down that the recipe was essentially the same, while anyone with half a taste bud could tell...

Geez, those who know the difference between one soda and another must really be dedicated. It reminds me of when I was a smoker and knew the difference between cigarettes, I thought Marlboros were the best.
