I'm fairly sure they already possess them. But we'd need no help. An EMP attack is planned for, there wouldn't be an Iran left, an invasion would follow, complete annihilation until they were forced to surrender. Congress would actually declare war.

Human nature is pretty consistent and most leaders are power mad, self centered people. The great thing about an attack on a nuke nation is that whether they win lose or draw with their retaliation their first order of business should be to kill the leader who "started it". For example you never saw OBL with a bomb strapped to his chest or Bush on the front lines did we? The leader and his legacy must survive. That is probably an even stronger motivation that losing millions of citizens would be.

I'm sorry Pete, there seems to be some confusion. If Iran indeed builds a nuclear weapon in this underground facility, if we know it is indeed weeks away from reality, what would you do?

I'll verify this link for accuracy but let's say it is true. That Iran, 100 miles south of Tehran, near Qom, has every intent to develop and build a nuclear weapon in a bunker apparently immune from American Paveway bunker busters.
