I thought Fight Club was a revolutionary movie when it came out in 1999 and spoke directly to many of the issues that plagued us at the time.
Today I think it's significance is up there with books like 1984, A Brave New World and Animal Farm.

Must have watched Fight Club a hundred times back in the day. Ironically, I watched it on a hot box that got free pay-per-view back when that was still a thing. Tyler Durden would have approved.

Fight Club spoke to a generation of men. Men who were " white collar slaves" ( in the words of Tyler Durden). Tyler was Ed Nortons alter ego. An alter ego that lives in many men who want to break free ftom the confines of expectations and realities of every day life that are the chains of conformity. I'm aware of various interpretations but the common denominator appears to anti-capitalist and anti-bourgeois.
