Some of the potentially best posters to this forum unfortunately don't trust their own rhetorical powers sufficiently to engage in a grownup discussion about so many topics; instead, they either pretend not to understand the content or context of others' statements and questions, or simply ignore them without any attempt at a legitimate refutation. It is bad faith posting, and some members do little else - even the ones who could if they wanted to.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

You jumped into a conversation and made a comment that made no sense in the context of the discussion you attempted to join. It was what we call a Safety ( i.e. looking for hypocrisy instead of actually making a point). Sadly, you managed to $#@! it up even worse than Safety would have. Damn.

I knew exactly what was being discussed when I posted. You used "agenda" in a derogatory sense, and I pointed out that it's a word that frequently gets used that way when referring to the plans and principles of a group or individual that one disagrees with.
What was I just saying about posters who pretend not to understand what others have posted because they have no other response...?
