“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

No you didn't. I never implied that cavemen didn't have a moral construct. All I said was that murder for individual gain is universally accepted today as immoral while in the caveman days "not so much".
I stated that we have progressed a great deal morally from the caveman days and gave this as an example. If I didn't know you better I would say you're being disingenuous about this.
I shouldn't have to tell you this. The posts I made were in replies to yours.

I'd like to hear more about this moral progress.

It absolutely isn't the same thing. That simply is not true. I've already given you an example of how we've progressed morally. The justice system is another morally driven progression that didn't exist for cavemen in the way it exists for today's man.
Comparing "cavemen" (I never said they lived in caves rather was just referring to the paleolithic era in layman's terms) to today's man morally, conceptually should be pretty easy. You said they were the same. Can you elaborate?

There simply isn't enough data to substantiate your example and the justice system is irrelevant. If anything, that's a sign of complexity and organization not morality. Better still, how do we know if and how justice was administrated among Paleolithic clans? We don't so again we have very little if any data to go on.
