Correct. One size doesn’t fit all. Giltner, Nebraska doesn’t have the same cost of living as Seattle, Washington. The federal government should keep out of the issue. It’s a local thing.

Iím still wondering why @gamewell45 is still arguing about arithmetic and unwilling to acknowledge Sandersí hypocrisy here?

Bernie Sanders has made the $15.00 an hour minimum wage a central part of his campaign. Now he’s fighting paying his employees $15.00 an hour. Liberals are either silent on this or justifying it like @gamewell45 is.

Sen. Bernie Sanders is one of the many faces that make up the progressive left within the Democratic Party. Heís an unapologetic democratic socialist. He has an economic agenda that would cost us trillions of dollars. And heís staunchly pro-labor union.

That is until his campaign staff starts making demands for better pay, right? Yeah, it seems so. The Sanders campaign has unionized and is demanding $15/hour for staff nationwide and so far the left-wing candidateís leadership is silent on the matter.

You just canít make this up. The far left guy unionizes the staff, makes minimum wage hikes part of the campaign platform, and then decides to slow walk paying his own staff the wage he wants to enact nationwide for workers as president. Excuse me while I grab some popcorn

So awesome to see fakers outed. He can run a Walmart when he is out of the race since he has the desired management style.

See the K Harris deal? Doing political favors as a prosecutor for sexual predators. Thatís gonna hit as well.
Blacks and poor people been voting Democrat for years and years. Hey are no better off. Vote for economics and traditions. Be part of saving America from the nutty left. The ones that highjacked this jaskassery Party.

Walmart and McDonalds should pay $15.00 an hour, but not him.

If you look at the math, if accepted by Sanders, it would mean a pay increase of over 100%; I don't know of many people who get a raise of that percentage in a labor contract. These days most people are lucky if they get 2 or 3% yearly so it's understandable that they'd fight for the $15 per hour rate. The union would be better off proposing pay increases based on geographic location.
Currently plotting the overthrow of the world; unfortunately I have no idea how to do it.

They think it's fine for everyone but them? Sanders tried to worm out by saying they make 17 dollars an hours if you count benefits. He's calling for 15 dollars an hour in wages while paying 13.60 an hour. There's your liberals at their best.

I don't think it's as gloomy a picture for Sanders despite what the Conservative leaning Town Hall publishes on the internet. The Washington Post link paints a much different positive picture IMO and that is one of working together to forge an acceptable labor agreement acceptable to both sides.
It starts at 15 dollars an hour. He calls for that. He wants it to be a law. He's a lying old man who couldn't see the crap he's saying doesn't match his actions.

How would minimum wage be an increase?

How is less than 15 an hour not the starting point if he wants iy to be the law.

One is arithmetic and one is hypocrisy.

No, you haven't made it clear. I hope you aren't going to pull one of your "I've answered it and I'm through" excuses.
