Gov't run Heathcare. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

We've experienced Gov't run healthcare for 7/8 years now, it's called Obamacare. If you liked your doctor you lost your doctor, if you liked your plan you lost your plan, and it costs you 3 to 4 times more today then it did before you were forced to buy it.

I heard a clip from a certain presidential candidate last night uttering the words once again... if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. That is a bald face lie at this point in time.

It’s hard to believe Biden actually said “if you like your current plan you can keep it. If you like your current doctor you can keep him “.

Why would he make such a comment considering the history of the Obama administration?

Actually the ACA has been a success in many ways. On of which is to end the ridiculous situation where people stayed on full on Public Assistance because going to work meant losing Medicaid for themselves and possibly their children. I believe it has also reduced the number of uninsured Americans. I was not a fan of the government's involvement but despite what is said it has helped. we are simply too wealthy to have tens of millions, including full time workers running around in a world with out of control healthcare cost. McCain voted the way he did for those reasons. If the cons want to end ACA they need to find something better. And pleases don't invoke the "free market" because no such thing exist in healthcare.

2013 around 44 million uninsured americans. 2016 around 26 million. However the number rose in 2017 a little as the ACA is getting hacked up. If the social cons don't like it and there are some reasons not to, they need to provide a better alternative.

A better alternative would have never enacted O'care and created a public option for those who could not get private insurance.

Wasn’t there anyone in his inner circle who could say “Joe, that’s not good idea, let’s rethink this”.

The word option suggests you are giving people a choice. Their idea can’t survive if people have a choice.

The point is to not disturb what is working for a large majority.

The neither understand or agrees with that stance.
