Tough subjects that address how many Americans think and live are always met with ad hominem and not a single thought. The meaningless replies demonstrate that too clearly. As someone noted above had I turned the discussion point around, many would have agreed. Our last president and family are a case in point, and one still called out when a target is required to quell the mind of the easily led.

But the results are the same for the working class and that includes dark skinned people as well. When wealth and corporate power alone manage the policies the resentful light skinned man and woman will require someone to blame and that is oh so easy when Americans are so uneducated that many cannot pass the citizen's test. The history book in thread op 'White Trash' is a fascinating read for the thoughtful American. Class is something Americans have a hard time facing. I see it often as I move between.

There are other more real consequences to the policies of the Trump administration outside of the inequality of taxes and class, and the people who suffer the most are often the poor whites. As Trump's EPA removes regulations that keep Americans healthy more Americans get sick and this burdens our health system. Reading: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...their-own-land

light skinned people? Dark skinned people? Brown people?
When you use a blanket statement about all whites are racists borders on the galactic stupid. Apologist much?
So, then you misuse a quote from a brilliant mind to justify your morbid position by altering it.
Go back to posting someone else's book. They are clearly more educated than you.
    meh...........plagiarist apologists

It is either extreme stupidity or it is a deliberate attempt to shut people up. Poisoning the well.

Feel free to move on to another thread that doesn’t #trigger you. Everyone is welcome to post what they want, within limits. His topic is true regarding the dynamics surrounding the darkness and lightness of ones’ skin tone.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

Trigger doesn't mean respond to, react to, disagree with.

His topic is true to his opinion, and, apparently, yours, two who are constantly triggered, as in overreacting emotionally, by "the dynamics surrounding the darkness and lightness of ones’ skin tone" whatever that even means.

I count see the “e” in “made”. I thought it said how white people got mad.

I have an answer for that.
Blacks and poor people been voting Democrat for years and years. Hey are no better off. Vote for economics and traditions. Be part of saving America from the nutty left. The ones that highjacked this jaskassery Party.

I am amused at how you erroneously define trigger, then proceed to use it erroneously later in your argument.

It takes true partisan skill to be wrong twice in the same post.

Trigger means to cause a puff / homo / hard left / etc hysterical reaction to something that is common and no big deal. Of course it is being misused like racist, homophone, xenophobe, etc.

Men understand all this and are chill. We can keep the cool women calm.
