What I figured, the sins of others cost me extra.

I usually don't use self-checkout but when I do I never think of cheating. At Walmart they randomly check your cart against your receipt.

Maybe we should raise the social security tax another .3 and call it even?

Or raise the time spent in jail for theft.

I'm super honest and I don't use the self check-out lines because I'm worried that I might goof something up by accident and be accused of walking out with something. And if I get something from customer service then go check out a cart full of groceries I always show the cashier my receipt for my earlier purchase.

When I get gas I always get a receipt, just in case my card didn't register for some stupid reason and I'm pumping as a cash pay.

Kind of a quirk I have.
