This forum was always different from others in the sense people cared more about the other members. This crazy political environement and this changing of the guard in politics has the country at each others throat and that has reflected here as it has on every other forum. It will get sorted out soon enough

Ive always kept in mind a couple of points when dealing with other humans online, first you cant see them you cant look into their eyes and you cant see their body language. You dont see if they are laughing, grimacing, angry or just pulling your chain. So with that in mind how can you take it all so seriously. I dont have animosity for anyone and hating someone online I dont see how you can do that or why you would. I get annoyed at what others say at times, but I blow it off.

Theres alot of really nice people on TPF politics have separated us and thats really a shame, but it is a political forum.

Some of the people that you bicker with the most and get into it with just might the person you would like the most if this was reality, I like this forum, I like the people that come here

While Common and I sometimes disagree I think he is a solid person. Of course I only know him online so he could be an axe murderer, but I doubt it. I have never known him to show any anger towards axes.

You are actually one of those that are near the top of my list, you are always the same, no vast swings up or down right or left, you are consistent and that rings of honesty

As a political forum you are going to get the most politically active people. I doubt anyone here is political all the time. I write funny stories. I publish them. They are as clean as a whistle, non-sexual and funny. I do for people if I can.

However, I still think the left is dangerous. That's how life goes.

Cotton, you sometimes remind me of a poster I recall - either from this board or the one I was on previously - who lived in Florida and was big into collecting fossils. He, too, was honest to a fault and highly entertaining. I remember that he ended up getting perma-banned because he sometimes got highly over-the-top abusive - I suspect that it happened mostly when he was drinking - but he was certainly fun to chat with when he was relatively sober. I miss him.
