Worst defeat in US military history?

I watched this video about the Battle of Wabash in 1791. I had never heard of it but I think we've all heard of the American victory that followed a couple years later at Fallen Timbers. Now this was the most serious defeat only in terms of the casualties as a proportion of the total engaged which was ridiculously high. I don't think it was of tremendous strategic significance. Anyway, interesting video.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

    ~Alain de Benoist

Hubris is not a good idea. Poor planning is what cost us the Vietnam war.

An unwillingness to see thousands of young American lives squandered on an imperialist misadventure is not a lack of resolve, it's wisdom.

Sadly, even more SouthEast Asian civilians died by US Military action -- about a million.

It was the lack of resolve. We did not do the things needed to win any war.

Only the far left describes American actions--in whatever manner--as "imperialist."

It's hard to pinpoint the worst US military defeat. Kasseine pass is certainly one. The battle of the little big horn. The battle of the Pillipines after pearl harbor. There were a couple of horrible losses out of incompetence of leadership early during the Korean War.
