Now now now. They are not men. They are transgendered females. They are the true EX-Men

Yes, of course allowing a genetic male to participate in a competition involving strength against genetic females is wrong and basically unfair...but I disagree that opposition to it is in any way indicative of hypocrisy on the part of traditional feminists.

In terms of sports, there are teams, leagues and competitions designed for men and others for women; physical differences being what they are, this makes sense. Title IX, as an example, directs that federally funded entities (schools, for the most part) provide opportunities for all to participate in sports and other activities, fund scholarships for them, etc., regardless of sex. Feminists who pushed for this legislation were never looking to force women onto men's teams, but to ensure that female student athletes were supported by those institutions in an equitable way.
You aren't trying to argue a 5'2" female cop has the strength and stamina of a 6' male cop are you? And that is what we see all too often. One outcome we have seen is female police officers are quicker to shoot than males because they feel themselves to be in greater danger. These TV shows with the little wisp of a female taking down a big brawny male crook is a TV show and not grounded in reality.

The only point I was making is that the example you presented of women being "allowed" to be cops is in no way related to the topic of the OP. Whether physical standards for LEOs have been unwisely modified or lowered to accommodate female candidates is an entirely other subject.

...and any women who wanted to compete would do so on a level playing field.
There would just be golf, tennis, fast-pitch softball, basketball, and soccer.
With men and women players in it.
    True equality.

If i wanted to compete against Recon Marines in pull-ups, should i ask for an overweight, fat-assed, lazy & crazy, old man's category?

There won't be women players in it. Women can't compete with men in strength, speed or stamina. Women won't make the teams. Of course it would save HS and colleges a crap load of money. Of course it would also cost a crap load of females an upper education.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

As far as firefighting goes, the story of Brenda Berkman gives an insight into how physical differences play a part with women. She successfully sued the NYC fire department for instituting what was claimed to be the most difficult physical test they had ever done in order to discriminate against women. Even if that was the reason for making it harder, it shows that the ceiling for female ability is lower in many physical respects.

The Marine Corps enforces different standards for men and women, largely because of pressure to be "inclusive." Thankfully, some people have been pushing enforcing equal standards, but if that results in an increase in failure rates for women, you can be sure they'll go back to different standards.

Its the same issue of "We are all the same so what difference does it make? The feminist mantra has been there is no difference between men and woman and if women want to be men or men women who are we to tell them they can't do that? I see no fundamental difference between saying gender is fluid and allowing women to take on traditionally male roles in life and death situations.

The situation described in the OP - with which I think at least 99% of people would disagree - is more closely akin to an adult wanting to participate in a children's athletic event on the grounds that they "identify as a ten-year-old".

Hopefully this phenomena of allowing males to compete as women ends soon. It is not just testosterone. A man can lower that with drugs, but there are many other advantages men have over women in sports.

Do you mean that someone has to teach our "advanced culture" that men and women are different?
