A good point but i think that extremism represents very few woman over all, or rather a small percentage. As for fire fighters , just make the criteria realistic and the same for both, not that I think too many fire fighters could carry my half dead ass out a house either way.

Hopefully this phenomena of allowing males to compete as women ends soon. It is not just testosterone. A man can lower that with drugs, but there are many other advantages men have over women in sports.
My son told me about this. He was far less pissed than when the man turned woman broke eye sockets in the octagon. Now that was some bull$#@! right there. This WL is 41 so perhaps he won't be as dominant as if he had "switched genders" a decade ago. Also even if you lower the testosterone that upper body mass is already developed. I believe it's also quite unhealthy to do so.

He mentioned that when some poor woman fighter got her eye bone broken. Can't the world agree that this just isn't right? It's like in golf or bowling just "indentifying " as a certain handicap and being allowed to compete against people with little chance to beat you. Except nobody gets a broken face in golf or bowling. well unless you manage to get hit with the ball that is.

I see no fundamental difference between saying gender is fluid and allowing women to take on traditionally male roles in life and death situations.
To say that it isn't fair or reasonable to permit a genetic male to compete against genetic females in a contest involving physical strength is a far cry from suggesting that "traditionally male roles" should be confined to those born male. If those roles require a certain physicality, by all means apply those standards across the board, but in my experience the opposition to allowing women to participate in certain male-dominated fields tends to have far less to do with physical standards or safety than with the male ego, i.e., the attitude that "a woman couldn't do my job". The validity of a claim that there is no difference between the sexes requires context; sometimes it's true and sometimes it isn't, depending on what is being discussed.

Thats very well all true, except for the professions that lowered the standards so women can be hired for the job and pass entrance exams. Like Police and Fire, recently New Jersey and another state have re instated the old standards of physical accruity tests to reflect the standard of physical conditioning and strength needed to perform the job. Record number of women are now failing the physical test.

Any job that a female can perform at the standards set for men most certainly should be allowed to perform that work and be hired but the standards should never be lowered merely to make women able to pass requirement tests
