For over 3 years now police in some states have been allowing Antifa and BLM to throw piss in water ballones, feces, bleach and other substances such as glass and rocks at police and people gathered at a free speech rallies including Trump speaking. I watched most live and I know one person lost some eyesight because of the bleach. I have seen independents get doused with piss, tires cut, bats hitting cars only for them to walk. If they were arrested they were out within the hour. They created this mess when they refused to uphold the law and stand down.

I am a nice person but I got so sick of the ones leading the prayer groups I stopped watching. Who allows others to throw things at them and not throw something back????? I might be old but still have an arm, they throw a rock at me, I would throw one back as a head shot. Protesting is one thing but being attacked is another. Who is teaching these young men to be passive.

For many years Democrat run cities, have refused to prosecute or pursue acts against police for Political Purposes.
They have allowed a environment of "WE can do that they wont do nuttin" or the police arrest them and then told to let them go.

Before I read the article and watched the short video, I thought that was an excessive punishment, but after seeing how the punks interfered in the line of duty of the officers -- I think it's appropriated.

In view of the denigration of and loss of respect for law enforcement that this childish behavior demonstrates, yes it should be a felony and whatever else is necessary in criminal punishment to stop it.
