Should Throwing Water Be a Felony?

Before I read the article and watched the short video, I thought that was an excessive punishment, but after seeing how the punks interfered in the line of duty of the officers -- I think it's appropriated.

    Lock them up!

It wasn't JUST water. At one point, an officer was hit with the bucket. That's a wee bit different.

Furthermore, there's no way to know what's IN the water. Not sure why the officers didn't respond to that $#@!. Probably because they know DeBallsio would NOT have their backs. I hope they crack down on these punks.

Yep, first its water.....then whatever they start adding to it. Just like Antifa adding concrete mix to a Milkshake. Police can't take the chance.

The leftness is just waiting for a cop to shoot someone throwing water. Then they will be out talking about how it was only water and a cop shot whoever.

Exactly, and people might think cement is rather benign, it's not, it can be very caustic depending on the type, and concentration.

Throwing water on someone, anyone, is assault. It doesn't really matter if its only water, the intent is to hinder someone from continuing whatever has you annoyed. If I shoved you because you wouldn't get out of my way in the grocery store aisle that is assault, and assault is normally a felony. Throwing water should be no different

What people do not think about when it comes to certain crime against Police.

If there was no crime in throwing buckets of water on the police then it would happen so often that they would not be able to perform their job.

Same thing with spitting on the Police if there was no punishment they would be spit on all day long.

Exactly. It's as if they think their behavior is okay. What is the matter with some people? They have no clue.

They're not "dissing," they're assaulting and interfering with the duties of the officer. What's more than that, however, is that they're promoting something that could grow and become a huge issue. Best to make examples of them now and stop it.
