Resentment is something I've prayed about because it's not something you're always conscious of.

Yep, I've said that for years. In every society for the most part, governance there is always a minority super wealthy and everyone else. Democracy, communism, socialism, you name it.

Been like that since the dawn of civilization, will never change.

Never is along time. At least we have a middle class here still.
