My opinion is just say no. Don't buy one, and if you own one, get rid of it.

The LG, by far. Ease of use, better keyboard. Quality wise ? Slight edge to LG.

I've had good luck with Samsung but I use it in pretty basic ways, text, Google, FB, actual phone calls and e-mails . If your like me get a tough case!

When I switched from Blackberry to Samsung it took getting used to it, but I have loved all 3 of my Samsungs. Cannot think of any problems with using it and they have been reliable (I have two currently; my US phone and my Canadian phone, both S7s). I find the Samsung to be more compatible, in general, but I cannot compare that to LG only Apple (everyone I know has an iPhone or Samsung). Apple products are overpriced, the programs are not always friendly and I have been hearing that they have trouble Bluetooth pairing with some vehicles.

I would suggest the Samsung brand to others.

I have the iPhone X. Got it when it came out. Due up for a new one in October. I don't know that I will. The apple products works better with our legal programs.

Why are the phone's so inexpensive?

I have been using Samsung's for years, definitely the most heavy duty, and long lasting smart phone. But, they do have some little quirks which are annoying. I've only had one LG phone, and it was an absolute piece of crap. My wife has one, and it's goofy as heck. Seems to have lasted her quite a while though. I'm a phone dropping fool, so I always use the big hunkin' Otter Box cases.

*Why are the phone's so inexpensive?* ............ They weren't the top-o-line to start with, their market dates are around a year ago and I'd imagine LG and Samsung made way to many and were happy to sell to Wally World cheap to clear out some inventory.

They are waaaaay more expensive than that on Verizon's regular plans. I never buy the latest phones, but they are still 4 to 6 hundred bucks.
