    Smartphone Opinion

I'm about to purchase a new SP, a Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit or an LG Rebel 4. These are the only two I'm considering. My service is Straight Talk via Verizon. The J3 cost $60 and the Rebel is $40. Both are new and market release dates are June and Sept 2018 respectively. All the specs are essentially the same, size, ram, storage, battery etc. So, from y'all phone heads out there I'm asking about any experience with LG and or Samsung ??
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

I've had the same Samsung (Galaxy SIII) since 2008. Dropped it more than a few times. Yet it still works. Battery still keeps a charge, though not as well as it did when it was new. Considering, it's a pretty damn good phone. Korean engineering in general is quite good. And Samsung has a long history of inter-operating with Android, so that's also a plus. Personally, I'd go with the proven Samsung over the LG. You don't want to find out that your LG isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

The only thing I know is that ive been told many times samsung is better than LG but thats opinions hangar.
I owned a samsung s7 and a motorola droid z and now a pixel 3 and the pixel is far better and easier to use than both the others.
The samsung was a bit more complicated than the other 2 but I had no issues with any of them.

I was a regional director running a 100 Sprint Stores up until 3 years ago. Had service centers the whole enchilada. Both are good phones. I prefer the LG between the two.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Apple. Although if I had to choose between those two I'd go Samsung.

I bought Samsung for years and they were always good.

    LG OK.

But I switched to Google Pixel.

Here's the difference in specs. One major item - the Samsung battery will last 30 hours, the LG 15 hours.

The Samsung has a better camera and better resolution.

The wife has Apple but, she's going to purchase the same phone we decide on. Her iPhone is a 4, it was given to her almost 4 years ago if I recall correctly. The Straight Talk iPhone 6's start at $150 and 7's at $300 and we don't want to spend that much, not to mention the learning curve I'd need to endure.
