I found this in my pic archives. For you, buddy. Enjoy.
It took me a bit to find it.

I admire Forrest for his business acumen. After the end of the war he was bankrupt and lost all his property. However, he rebuilt his fortune and became a millionaire by running a railroad. He died about 10 years after the war so he restored his wealth fairly quickly.
He was also a brilliant tactician, winning almost every battle he engaged in and doing so with the smallest loss of life of either his own men or Union forces of any general in the war.
His alleged involvement with the Ku Klux Klan is just that, alleged. There is no proof that he was even a member of the Klan, much less one of its founders. All stories of his Klan involvement can be traced to stories published in the New York Times who wanted to discredit him because he was so well liked in the South. He was the subject of several Congressional investigations into his alleged Klan activity and no evidence was ever found that he did have any involvement.
