Saw the movie yesterday. I highly recommend it. I remembered the story from a 60 minutes type program years ago. It is a great story and well done.

They are still looking for that girl that made the phony rape claim to give the money back.

The only Banks that comes to my mind, is that corrupt Democrat in Michigan that was writing bad checks and the Demos still supported him for Office.

It appears that this is one movie based on a true story that sticks pretty closely to what really happened.

I hate being cynical, but I have to be honest here. Given the subject matter and the current social climate, what are the chances that this movie, regardless of how well made or performed, will so much as be nominated for any major film awards?

Probably none but it deserves it. The guy playing Banks is also great on City on the Hill. That dude has a way about him. A certain intensity jumps off the screen at you when watching him. He was great. The acting all the way across was great. I am not easily drawn in and this one is a winner. Greg k was really good too.
