That happened in Texas with Gov. Davis.
Barricaded himself in the top floor of the capitol with his private police.
We just swore in the new Gov. on the ground floor and ignored them.
Eventually they all trickled home.

It's very easy to imagine Trump, upon losing, sending up a Twitter-storm of accusations about "voter fraud", etc. - he has already said publicly, more than once, that the only way he cannot be re-elected is if the vote count is illegally obtained by the Democrats - and privately he might harbor the notion that refusing to leave was an option. However in reality not even his most dedicated and obsequious aides or advisers would support him in such a move. He would no doubt act like the most ungracious loser in the history of the office - to the point where even his most ardent supporters were embarrassed for him; the Republican leadership would most definitely do exactly as they did immediately before President Obama's first inauguration - agree between themselves to do everything possible to make his successor's Presidency a failure; as to locking himself in the Oval Office and refusing to go, however, while it's funny to think about and most definitely in character for Trump, I think we're just going to have to be satisfied with watching Alec Baldwin do it on SNL.
