I have it on my 18 Tacoma. Someone pulled out in front of me shortly after I got it and it locked up. It's a good thing, though with less accidents I'll probably be working out of a closet.

The wife's Mazda does that, but it works through the cruise control- that is something I have never used.

Im seriously looking at the Honda Crv, its rated top notch for safety and has all the safety features I want.

Im going to look at the EX-L with navigation but alot of people tell me the android play is better than built in nav. I dont know Ive always had built in navigation, I have to look at this android and apple play gps

Anyway I had a BBQ at my house Sat and 2 friends told us that the option saved them from an accident or serious injury.

The option will stop you if it senses you are to close to a vehicle in front of you and havent responded by hitting your breaks, it will slow you down or apply the breaks accordingly. It also will steer you back in your lane if you are drifting out of your lane, like falling asleep or unattentiveness.

One guy was on the highway and his rottweiller decided to jump up and start licking his neck, he turned and pushed the dog back and almost rear ended the car in front of him the Adaptive cruise saved him.

Another guys wife said she was totally wrong in trying to get her phone out of her purse and it brought her to a full stop before she hit a car in front of her that stopped for a light.

NOW MY WIFE wants it, sigh she always gets what she wants but I do not want to buy another vehicle right now, but like a good puppy im out there looking for another car.

I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue that I paid off 5 months ago, it has low mileage, garage kept and theres no reason to get rid of it, unless your wife wants you to I guess.....yes yes im whipped

So ive been looking for Small Suvs that have this feature, well surprise surprise, all the companies, except subaru only put them in their top of the line, which are stupidly expensive and have things that are ridiculous and I dont want.

Subaru is slick though, they have Eyesight in every model from base to the ultimate but if you want power seats you have to buy the Limited version, I wont have a car without power seats. So im back in the same boat.

She wants it because she says shes weary having to be so attentive while riding with me because im an idiot and I drive like a cop, im always looking at both sides of the street and never straight ahead. I promised id change, she doesnt believe me.

So could someone start a Gofundme page for me

Ive had two friends tell me it saved them from accidents one that would have been serious and another person at a car dealer said it saved them.

The honda has both the forward collision mitigation and the adaptive cruise, one stops you completely from hitting a vehicle in front of you, the adaptive cruise, automatically slows you down and accelerates in highway traffice.

I bought a CRV, it has so much stuff Its going to take me a month to figure it out.

The key fob does more than just lock and unlock the doors, it can open all the windows and start the car and theres some other stuff he told me I already forgot...

This has collision mitigation thats not tied to cruise control it works all the time, stops you when it senses you are going to hit something. With cruise on it slows when cars in front of you slow then speeds up when they do and will bring you to a stop if someone is making a turn and it automatically puts you back in the center of the lane when you drift

Now this one I dont believe, the suv is rated for 28 city 34 hwy. The manager thats a friend of mine said unlike other manufacturers Honda lowballs their mileage where nissan and kia and hyundai exagerate it. He said ill get 38 and If I keep the eco button on, ill get 7 more mpg hwy and 3 more city. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT, he said I will, we'll see. Doors lock automatically when you walk away from the car and unlock as you approach it and it has a ton off stuff I havent played with yet.

Can you set it so only the driver's door opens when you walk towards it?
