‘Chrisley Knows Best’ stars in custody, indicted on tax evasion and fraud charges

Reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are in custody after being indicted for tax evasion and fraud charges on Aug. 13.

According to CNN, the Chrisleys will appear before a judge later on Wednesday after turning themselves in earlier. The couple is reportedly facing 30 years in prison if convicted.

Todd and Julie Chrisley star in the USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best,” which has aired for seven seasons and follows the Chrisleys’ lavish lifestyle.

Todd Chrisley addressed the indictment on Instagram yesterday, claiming the charges could be traced back to a disgruntled former employee.

I've never actually watched the show itself. The commercials for it are scary enough. He's just a huge drama queen who seems to believe that he's the center of the universe, and who has what the Germans call "ein schlagbares Gesicht" - a punchable face.
