So Trump is the reason this amicus brief was filed with SCOTUS?

They seem to be threatening the Court that if they don't take care of this case the correct way (by agreeing with the NY law) that they would stack the Court the first chance they get. That is well beyond Trump.

Re: my earlier comment. I was trying to point out that because the country has become so divided and polarized since Trump's base refuses to hold him accountable it has created this feeling within the country that those he has put on the supreme court are nothing more than political hacks.

I have thought this way for some time. The supreme court no longer deserves the respect it used to garner. They decide based on political leaning and not based on the law. The supreme court should be gotten rid of.

This thread is not about Trump. It is about 5 Dem senators that filed a legal brief with SCOTUS threatening them with restructuring if SCOTUS doesn't rule the way they want on a gun control case.

Some of those Senators who signed that monstrosity are lawyers- their bar associations should discipline them. Debar them.
