He's not as popular as he was since he tried a 'Trump' by attempting to influence a Minister to change direction. It didn't work.
Canadians don't like that kind of leadership but it will be up to his constituents to vote him out of Parliament (and therefore the party leadership) at the next election.
I'm not so sure he will be rejected by his own electorate and the rest of Canada doesn't have a say in that.
