I have heard the Fonda name. Doesn't mean much to me. But I really don't like old movies.

The classless, as well as the clueless. But those films weren't. You think so, but maybe that is because you never were from a line of actor's families. No understand to this day as to what it was/is. That's right, you never got it.
It has always been about Hollywood, zogbot.

Henry Fonda and Jimmy Stewart both broke into show business at the same time, the early '30s, and as aspiring stage actors roomed together in NYC. Stewart told the story about how the two of them once had no money for food, and decided to go down to the corner and try performing for tips - Stewart playing the accordion and Fonda singing. "We didn't make any money," he said.
Stewart was a church-going conservative Republican and Fonda an agnostic liberal Democrat. They reportedly remained close friends for more than fifty years by agreeing never to talk about politics.
Stewart, in 1942 before deploying overseas, visiting Fonda on the set of The Ox-Bow Incident, speaking with director William Wellman.

"Captain America" Walks the Plank
Easy Rider reflected PF's actual situation, which they wouldn't dare expose, so they made him some Free Spirit financed by a drug deal. An honest movie would have exposed the whole Hippy = Preppy takeover of our culture: a spoiled rich kid whose Daddy bought him an expensive motorcycle, living off his trust fund as he wanders around the country and snobbishly slanders real Americans because of his own conceit of entitlement rather than for any good or real-life reason. Janey was the same way, but she, at least, never made a movie glorifying her own personal problems as virtues she could shame the public with.

We won't live free until the Democrats, and their voters, live in fear.
I remember when putting a flag on everything was the "thing to do". It shouldn't have been. I did it too.
Now it's commonplace.
