Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has churned out scores of plans to fix America, and almost all of them require cracking the federal checkbook wide open.

Her campaign’s estimates of the cost of the proposals, which include free child care and overhauling election systems, total more than $5 trillion over a decade. That sum does not include other high-priced items on the liberal wish list such as “Medicare for All” government-run health care.


It appears that Ms. Warren is just getting started.


She has made “I have a plan for that” the catchphrase for the campaign. She rolls out spending proposals on an almost weekly basis.


The Washington Times’ tally of a $5 trillion price tag did not include the cost of fully implementing a “Green New Deal” environmental makeover of the U.S. economy, estimated at between $52 trillion and $93 trillion, or Medicare for All, estimated at between $28 trillion and $32 trillion.

Germany has done it in the past. Not sure if they still do. I could see both Poland and Hungary doing it.

Elizabeth Warren is no different then any other candidate who has run for President, including the current President. They'll tell you anything you want to hear as long as you pull the lever next to their name in 2020. Once they get elected most, if not all of their election campaign promises, go out the window and all we get is an empty bag.

Trump is the only president in recent memory that has tried to do what he ran on.
He said he would fix the economy he has, he said he would try to fix the border, hes tried and hes been under non stop assault from the left since BEFORE he was elected

The economy is substantially the same as Obama's.

Trump's added more than $2T to the debt already, and none of you seem to mind as long as he goes after the groups you don't like and tells you the lies you want to hear.

Obama's economy averaged a 1.5% growth, so far Trumps has averaged 2.6%. The biggest difference however has nothing to do with growth numbers it is attitude. Obama said low growth is the new normal, Trump says we can get bigger. Politics really is a lot like cheer leading, if you are out there jumping up and down saying Fight Fight Fight Win Win Win Go Go Go, you motivate people, they try harder it is a mindset. On the other hand if you sit there saying we can't do better, winning isn't everything, at least we are not losing worse.... people get unmotivated, they do not expect more, and that is what they get

And you are incorrect, deficit spending pisses me off, I am in no way supporting increasing the debt. What I find amazing is for 8 years no one seemed to notice.... NOW every Democrat in the nation and every news anchor have suddenly stopped being blind to it and NOW it is a big deal.

Except that so far President Trump holds the record for the largest number of promises kept. Even his own party is pissed at that. He has REALLY made everyone else look like idiots.
