Can an LLC Protect a Group from Lawsuits?

You can't use an LLC to shelter yourself from slander and such. It's meant to protect your personal assets in the event your company gets sued.

We're being very careful, sometimes it just seems as though big corporations will sue just to eliminate any opposition. With as many people as we have, however, the idea that someone could slander the corporation is likely. Some folks have a hard time controlling themselves. I'm taking all of this advice to heart. We need all the good advice we can get! Thank you.
